My name is Rico van Zelst, I’m currently a Fullstack Development student at the Bit Academy in the Netherlands. I’m also a freelance web developer and I’m currently working on a few projects, both private and public. I specialize in building web applications with Laravel, and I also have experience with other frameworks and languages such as Astro, Angular, NodeJS, C# and some C++. I’m also a big fan of open source software and I try to contribute to open source projects when I can.

I’m currently learning even more about Laravel, VueJS, Astro, TypeScript and TailwindCSS. I’m also learning more about DevOps and TDD (Test Driven Development.) and I’m working on improving my skills in these areas both during my studies and in my free time (through Laracasts, for example.).

In my free time I enjoy programming, playing video games, watching movies and series, listening to music and podcasts, and I also enjoy reading articles about technology and software development. From time to time I also like to write articles myself, which you can find on my blog. I also like to work on side projects, which you can find on my GitHub.
