About Me

Hey there! I'm Rico van Zelst, a 23-year-old Full Stack Developer who's passionate about creating websites and software. I love making things and solving problems.

In July 2024, I graduated from Talland College (formerly Horizon College) & Bit Academy with a degree in Software Development. During my time at Talland College & Bit Academy, I learned how to build websites and software applications using various technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Laravel. On-top of that, I also learned how to work with databases, APIs, and version control systems like Git. I also have a IT Specialist Certification in JavaScript from Pearson VUE.

I write websites and software, both in my free-time and as my job. I often use PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, Rust & Go depending on what tech stack fits the project best. When working on frontend, Svelte is usually my go-to, but I have experience with React & Vue too.

I am currently self-employed and run Rico van Zelst Development / Zenso Digital, where I have worked with companies in various industries like cyber security and live-streaming.
